2013: the dairy journey begins
Milk collection starts in Malegaon, in North Maharashtra’s agricultural belt. This is the origin of the dairy business and its collection-centre network.
2014: Morgan Agrotech Limited is incorporated
The company is incorporated in Nashik. It later adds cattle feed under the Morgan Pashu Aahar brand and agri-commodity trading, chiefly maize.
2021 and 2025: the ethanol entity
Hire Bio Ethanol Agro Industries Pvt. Ltd. is incorporated in 2021, and in July 2025 the Government of Maharashtra grants “Large Scale Project” status to the ethanol project. The project is under development and is not operating; see the Hire Bio Ethanol project page and what the status means.
The business today
Morgan reports more than 14,000 farmers, more than 300 collection centres, about 1.5 lakh litres of milk collected per day and 200 TPD of installed cattle-feed capacity. More background is on the about page and in the founder’s story.
